This is a great idea! I remember making "forts" out of blankets and my mother's furniture when I was a kid, and I had the best time playing in them. It was great to just sit in there and pretend or hide.

This is a great idea! My mom set up a "tent village" for my brother and sister in their playroom. She realized they had like four of those little kiddie tents, so she set them all up in the corner of their playroom facing each other and then draped them with a sheet. They absolutely love it.
